About Cayman

Global Citizen Concierge Program

The Global Citizen Concierge Program is a tourism initiative launched by the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism welcoming affluent, remote-working international travelers back to Grand Cayman.

In its simplest terms, the GCCP is a digital nomad visa where travelers meeting certain criteria are approved to reside on-island and work remotely for up to 24 months. Once approved, travelers can travel back and forth between Cayman, but must reside on-island for 90-days out of the year.

The program was created to attract travelers—and their families—with the flexibility to work remotely and the financial means to live abroad for an extended period of time. All travelers must undergo an application screening process and pay processing fees.

Cayman Islands Crypto Environment

The Cayman Islands are popular tax haven for individuals and companies. There are no taxes on all types of crypto activity in the Caymans. Due to their relaxed tax regulations, the Cayman Islands are one of the most popular jurisdictions in the world for Blockchain related businesses and cryptocurrency funds, with the largest initial coin offering (ICO) ever recorded and a growing ecosystem of blockchain technology companies.

Access to the US

The Cayman Islands is one of the most tax-friendly jurisdictions in the world. The jurisdiction does not levy any personal income tax, corporate tax or sales tax (VAT). You can become a tax resident with only 90 days of physical presence in the country, as long as you don’t live 183 days in another single country. Due to the complex nature of U.S. taxation, you should get professional tax advice before moving your tax residency to the Cayman Islands.
